Not only is she griping at me in English every now and then I get some Spanish too.lol

I keep telling myself I need to go ahead and run the bus to camp....and I keep finding OTHER things to do. I think processing the turkeys is going to be the hardest one yet.

To illustrate how squeamish the turkey camp day has me.... When y'all do it,do the others SEE YOU DO IT?? It doesn't bother me with the chickens. The turkeys are SMARTER. The surplus roosters are smart enough to know what a gun is. My wife didn't believe me. If I walk outside with the pellet rifle they head for the hills!!

I do it out of sight of the other turkeys. They do know what is going on.

Oh and Ethel Jrs daughter is now broody. She is a good broody and doesn't try bite me and isn't overly "hissy" lol. She had three of her own eggs. Ethel Jr on the other hand full on attacked me today when I was under the poop board getting her daughter... Just an FYI. Under a poopboard is the worst spot one could be when dealing with a jerk turkey hen.... Very hard to defend yourself...

Calling EThel Jr a jerk!! You deserved everything she gave you.

Ralph,my Ridgeback had to be taught strenuously to tolerate my chickens. He never even bats an eye at the turkeys ,even when they invade his doghouse .Brave birds. He has decide to draw the line with the ducks. If he sees one,its nothing but teeth and growling!!
