From your description it sound like a bacteria infected egg and I seriously doubt that there is a poult in it.
R2/Ralphie, What are your thoughts on late hatchers? Right now I'm at about a 50% survival rate with them??? That said, I took six that hatched at day 29 and they are fine, the two that hatched at day 31 didn't make it through the night and I still have two more pipping day 32.![]()
99.4 (+/- 0.1), My humidity dropped during this group... down to 24% when I woke up on day 25. Fixed the problem and got back up to 60% by noon, so don't know how long it was down. What is your temp at, Bob?

How sure of that temp are you?99.4 (+/- 0.1), My humidity dropped during this group... down to 24% when I woke up on day 25. Fixed the problem and got back up to 60% by noon, so don't know how long it was down.
Low humidity for a day wouldn't cause late hatchers... I run my turkey eggs at 100-100.5, last hatch was 100% all 14 hatched... 1 didn't survive, but it was a huge malpo poult, legs never got under him...
Do you have a fan and turner?
