So....my bird is a turd! Currently our heat index is over 105 with high humidity. I can't sit out here without a fan. Notice the picture...me in my chair, bird on the arm, then the fan. She's pretty much blocking my wind flow and thourouly enjoying it! She's not stupid...I may be tho....

Perhaps stupid is too strong, but I would question your sanity, sitting outside in 105 degree temperatures. Fan or no fan.

@duluthralphie I can't believe that someone stole your birds! Serious camera action is definitely needed. People are ridiculous anymore

It seems really weird that they could get away with 90 birds. That's gotta take some time and be noisy. Need a truck and crates to fit them all too. Maybe you need a dog sleeping outside at night to sound the alarm.

I'm so sorry for you. It's a bummer after the excitement of getting them. I got a shipment of 12 Buff Ameraucana chicks this spring, and one by one half of them died off despite me trying a bunch of remedies to save them. It went from excitement at being able to get rare birds (around here anyway) to sleepless nights and heartache, and constant emails to the breeder, whose help and support really helped, but also made me feel bad for her too.

Finnie, it's not TOO bad here in the shade, with a fan & cold beverage. Its not good with fatso blocking my fan!
It is miserable. Have two fans on the turkeys.
