My theory is that we had a very mild winter so now we are also having a very mild summer. It was so fall-like yesterday! Sunny but chilly and the wind blowing through the trees all day long. I love fall, but I'm not ready for summer to end yet.

Maleficent has all three of the new poults now along with her week old poult. She seems to be doing fine with them. She's used to free ranging with her poult, but I'm keeping them confined today so the newbies can get their bearings.

My birds are molting two months early. Maybe they know something. This nice weather won't last. We'll be back to swampy hot weather soon enough....
Annie is embarrassed. She stands behind trees & peeks out at me. Last evening during their stroll she hid behind my car & watched us. Poor baby!

I would prefer it to be in the 70s year round.

Edited: OK, it can be cold and snowy for two weeks at Christmas and it can have a few hot days for swimming in the summer. But that's it.
