A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

So one of my turkeys has a scissor beak and a squinty eye. His eye is functional but he squints all the time. He's been like this since day one but growing as well as the others, even picking fights with the other assumed boys. (One had him by the snood and ripped some feathers out)

Anyway, he's the first one to be chosen for culling, obviously. Hopefully he thrives long enough to reach a harvestable weight so he doesn't go to waste. I finally got a close up picture of his head and pretty sure his new name will be Two Face, like the batman villain. Definitely not a pretty bird...

Have you been using Vetericyn eye drops for its eye? If not, it is worth a try.

Here is Two Face.

LOL...R2elk if he was building an airport facility I could help!! I'm lost when it comes to residential.

Hahaha. When people used to ask what my mister's job description was we told them... he built stuff to blow it up.. You see he was army special forces.. and that kinda was really his job. Lol! But the looks we got when we said that were the best!

Polarberry, welcome to the thread. I also have a red poult that has a slight scissor beak and a squint eye. He is going on 3 months old now. He hatched that way. Had a narri the same but she passed at about 2 months.

It's bad to hear about the run of bad circumstances for jrnash. Sending him the best and wishes for it all to work out.

Memphis: give a house architecture a shot just a few lines and angles different. But I can't draw a straight stick person with a ruler and protractor.

My incubators are all finally empty and off. Finished my last hatch yesterday.

My Narragansett Tom took a walk about and never came back. Thought he took a narri hen with him but I found her today setting on a hidden best.

I saved back 4 narri poults. Looks like 3 are hens and 1 is a little Tom. So I may have a replacement in the spring if he makes it. 8 of my bourbon poults 5 are little toms. 2 royal poults both hens.

My adult birds are in mega molt. Yard looks like a feather pillow fight took place.

We missed any rain showers from the storms that pounded Texas and Fla. So the corn harvest is beginning to fire up full swing.

And of course when they start harvesting cotton it floats in the air like cotton candy puffs. Then the cotton snakes start piling up in front of the cotton broker offices ready to be classed. Cotton puffs float all over Cotton Row in downtown Memphis. Its all so cool.
