A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

lol, my hubby went home to switch out trucks and found her there
and a massacre out back where the birds actually live
so now i get to go home and see who survived

Lol, she looks so comfy! I'm so sorry about the massacre :( Any ideas on what it was?

@rjohns39 I am not half way done yet and already have 51 lbs. of honey packaged.

Wow! WTG bees!

Did anyone read about this?

Looks like I lost about 20 birds

lost curly cue (frizzle EE)
lost road runner (oegb/silkie)
Lost five naked necks
lost Brownie (ayam cross)
Lost Dalmatian (spitzhauben)
Lost a blue/lavender marans

And more that I can't think of

Again, I'm so sorry :(

Aurora Good to see you really have turkeys and are not just lying to us!!!:lau:lau:lau:lau:lau

What is wrong with people stealing bees???? Geeeesh.. Maybe it's the same jerks that stole my chickens...

I have relative peace in the turkey flock again. The jerk youngster is in a little cage with lots of corn..

I know the corn is not all that healthy for him, but he is not going to live long enough for it to affect his health. Besides the corn will make him nice and fat before his accident occurs...:thumbsup

No no no no....

Do you have anything left??

Sorry to hear about your losses :(

We saw a coyote on the edge of our property not that long ago and I'm glad the turkey coop is so secure.

My now 8 week old bourbon reds plus 2 surviving guineas.

I remember when my turkeys were small and well behaved like that...... blue.jpg

Tonight I thought I was short a RP TOM.. I could not find him anywhere. Then on an off chance I looked 10 ft up in the rafters...There he was.... Which begs the question "why?".

He has spend the past 2 years outside 3 ft off the ground through blizzards, rain storms, tornadoes and sand storms.....Why did he decide tonight he wanted to sleep in the rafters with the girls?

How did he get his fat donkey up there? He can barely get 4 ft off the ground. He is not svelte!

I feel terrible about the bees. Sure hope they catch that jerk(s).
R2elk....thats a lot of honey! Wow!! I'm impressed! Hard working bees this year!
Liz...so sorry....what the heck did that? Love the hen on the porch...reminds me of Daisy who avails herself of all comfy lawn furniture!
PolarBerry....too cute!
