Ooo i have THE perfect hat for you! Hahaha! I made this for middle son eons ago. When he left for the army he left this with me. It is super warm and made with all handspun yarn by me. It makes me laugh. I bet you would win with your birds and this one. :lau:lau:lau. It is all floppy too!
 
What a great hat! Hand spun fiber....impressed.

I actually took the hat off & showed it to them. Once they beaked it a few time they were ok. I bent over to put it back on. Once they checked it out & watched it go on my head they were fine. But boy they were barking their beaks off when I first showed up with it on my head. Such funny girls. You sure can't get away with anything around them. They are highly observant. My chickens didn't even notice the hat....

My kids are obsessed with gloves. When I was a kid my hands froze to a rifle and they just don't do well in cold temps. All of my birds are bothered by the gloves.
 
I LOVE my lil spinnin wheel. :). It is super relaxin for me! Our monsters could care less what i wear so long as i talk to them. If i dont talk they are loud and proud in their protests. Paul brought back from a journey long long ago a coat... this thing make us look like chewbacha. They dont even blink at it. One of our roos takes offense to it when i wear it though. He follows me and tries to get the fur from the inside lol! That is the only time he gets near me. And even then he tries for a nibble and hauls butt away.
 
Normally Daisy doesn't care what I wear. Flora however, is obsessed by shoes, painted fingernails and jewelry. My friends are now used to her messing with their shoes, show her their nails and don't wear jewelry to my house. She's not obnoxious, just likes to check out these particular things.
