A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

Sounds like Pebbles will be fine...I can imagine she's upset with her current living conditions! Mine would be mad!
We are having a glorious sunrise. It's all pink & red. Quite amazing.
It was warm enough yesterday evening. Took a break from winter garden clean up & sat on my back porch steps. Had a turkey sitting on either side of me. Just hanging out before bedtime. Cuties!

Pebbles is not happy with her new protective housing. She's pacing constantly and looking for ways to get out. Poor girl doesn't know what's best for her. I kept her right there with the flock so she would feel secure but I guess not. Oh well, she'll thank me later lol

I had a late meeting last night so I did not get the coop door closed until 10PM.

Either "Easter" has figured out what his name means or he is getting smarter. He was inside the coop and run when I got home to shut the door.

No stink eye, no having to push him, no bird giving me the bird. it was kind of nice.

So one or two of my girls were squatting for me the other day. Today I saw Henry “give it a go” with two different hens. He seems to be a little clumsy, hopefully he will improve. The first mating seemed successful, the second, not so much. Haha! He is quite handsome, but seems so small compared to my old Tom. I am glad if it means the girls will not be harmed during mating.

This is him this morning. He is quite handsome, this is not the best picture of him.
