A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

Thy look so terrible after a morning of soaking rain and then snow.

Looks like my turkey eggs are fertile! I found two today, so I have two girls that have come into lay. I also have a small chicken that I’m pretty sure has gone broody. I will let her sit for a couple of days, but if she is set, I will give her some turkey eggs!

AnneintheBurbs....I sort of looked like that trying to get to JFK yesterday. Fertile eggs! Yipee!
It's early here....I'm looking for those owls. Maybe they were just house shopping & between me yelling at them & being treed by a hound, they decided to move on. I'm not hearing them. Was walking around with my big spot light. Hoping the neighbors are still asleep. I look like a nut case out here staring up into trees with a spot light. My strategy is to harrass them into leaving....

I was watching some of these guys trying to land. Coming in sideways is quite a show. We just got on the runway to take off & had to pull off to let a few planes land. Apparently several planes pull out on approach & they had a ton of aircraft stacking up & circling. I figured we were doomed...but we finally got out. Quite the ride!!

Ralph....my little SS are so funny. The flock will trot toward me....but those little guys lower their heads & run like crazy. As fast as those fat drumsticks can go. They are a hoot. Of course Daisy flies to me. Annie will hop up on things, but doesn't fly around like Daisy. Daisy seems to like going airborne. She only gets around 3 feet off the ground, and can land it right next to me. It used to scare me. Thought she was going to fly right into me. But she has pretty good control. So I've learned to stand still while she's on approach. After she lands she does a wing flap & trills. Show off.....
