Slipped two bator poults to the ladies this afternoon and they took em right in. Now the silly rp lady wants be broody. Soooooo. Tomorrow we are puttin the other two ladies in a larger space where they can take these babies outside and i might just take these other bator eggs and give to the rp in the space these were usin. Or i will just keep kickin her off the nest i dunno. Today she was pretty determined... hissin and strikin at me like a snake. Downfall.... that only gives mr jerkface one hen to harass and i am not so sure i like those numbers. He really hasnt been harassin the two that are out much if any in the last week that we have seen. And we have been out and about round there quite a bit.

Hatched out 2 more narri poults today. 1 more pipped.

Setting here watching severe storms headed this way. Tornado warnings and calling for 70 to 90 mph straightline winds. Rain in certain area of up to 6 inches.

Gonna be a bumpy night

Should I Up the humidity right as I put them in lockdown or slowly increase? They’ve been sitting around 30-40% and I added just a little more water and they’re at 52% and 3 days till lockdown. I plan to have it higher for lockdown to hatching but just wanted to not drown them.

Also, when they start hatching on day 28 you leave all of them as is without opening the incubator to remove them at all, correct? (Since don’t have a separate hatcher)
