I wonder if someone dropped it off? my broody raised poults are not that tame @rjohns39 .. once I catch them they fight to get away the whole time.. but I only handle them if they get through the fence into the other pen.. of course they can't figure out how to get back in.

I guess anything's possible... I can't imagine someone getting up to my pasture without being seen/heard, but every other possibility I consider doesn't make any sense either.

I may have picked up a BB bronze poult at the feed mill this morning... I'm curious to see the size difference since I've never had any BB before lol

The broadbreast to heritage size comparison is astounding. I have 3mo old bb bronze hen that is larger than my year old palm hens. The month old bb poults are about as big as 6-7wk old heritages.

Almost one week old BB bronze and 3 week old royal palm. The bronze baby is terrified of me and the palm never wants put down! Maybe the palm will teach this little guy a thing or two.

Yeah I wanted to get some good pictures of the birds but it has done nothing but pour rain they look pretty rough with the poor feather condition and being wet.
