So it was confirmed this morning at 5:45 that the Turkey alert system does in fact work even 2 days in a row! It is suspected to be the same owl, it did try out a different enclosure but was unsuccessful in attaining a meal. Luckily the attending human had the foresight to install overhead wire thus preventing a massacre of the smaller turkeys in residence. The residents only suffered minor scratches where in a panic they attempted to exit the secure facilities through the surrounding wire and or wooden dividers.... no lasting damage seems to have been done.

Ps. No ladders were harmed in the assault

I think tomorrow morning we will come to an understanding about who gets to eat those turkeys ..... me not the owl. Lol

How annoying Alicia! Of course there is always...SSS. I dont think I could with an owl...but coons, possum, squirrels...not an issue.

I don't have an issue protecting my flock just finding the correct angle so nothing else is in danger from flying lead..... lol
