A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

Pebbles! She is the best! Isn't it interesting how the mothering instinct can be so strong? I really enjoyed watching my two old maid hens momma those chicks last year. So sweet!

Oh yes, her mothering instinct is TOO strong! I gave up trying to break her anymore. She would starve herself if I didn't give her babies!

I’m still reading the old posts on this thread, and I learned something new... turkeys dance. Cool! I found this video, showed to DH and he’s like, “You didn’t know that?” Anyway even he thought it was a pretty great vid even though I dragged him away from his Nashville marathon to watch it:

Yep, Romeo "tap dances" quite often. DD finds it hilarious lol

I have eaten Beaver... I liked it as I recall. It has been ages since I had it.

It was a redder darker meat as I recall. I have wanted to eat the beavers at the cabin, but I never seem to shoot them or they dive and I never find them. The trapped ones are normally in the trap over night so I do not want to eat them. (they drown right away but still the guts are in too long for me)....

Tried to get a picture of Pebbles with a baby but the baby was back under her in a flash.
