I don't really have a ground predator problem. I keep traps set and baited and recycle any predators as they show up.I use them to slow down the ground predators...or at least funnel them in so I can get a shot at them![]()

Seems this coonhound has taken care of a handful of possum and a racoon roaming the yard. Quickly & efficiently. No fuss, breaks their neck, shakes 'em a time or two, drops 'em & off he trots. After having to knock a few possum in the head with my shovel...I much prefer this method! Of course if he runs something up a tree the whole neighborhood hears about it.
Found Daisy standing on my back porch. All by herself. Boy was she yapping. Annie was still in the back part of the yard screaming & pacing. Not sure what Daisy thought she was doing....guess she flew over the fence. We had a quick chat and off to bed they went...
Walt Disney has been the single worst thing that ever happened to the proper management of wildlife.Of course, they are way smarter than us, they grew up in the city, vote Green and know all about predator prey relationships and the evil of wearing fur......
One of my guineas made the mistake of flying into my hound's pen, all I found was a few feathers.I dont let him loose with my birds. And keeping him on the property could be an issue. Just hang a GPS collar on him & let him out at night. He'll be back in the morning...LOL!
