A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

I don't really have a ground predator problem. I keep traps set and baited and recycle any predators as they show up.

I have to more careful with predators. I live in a wildlife refuge made up of land stolen from me....They will not allow the trapping or hunting of any predator....

BUT they wonder why there are no grouse/partridge, rabbits, or other small game in the area...

Of course, they are way smarter than us, they grew up in the city, vote Green and know all about predator prey relationships and the evil of wearing fur......

Seems this coonhound has taken care of a handful of possum and a racoon roaming the yard. Quickly & efficiently. No fuss, breaks their neck, shakes 'em a time or two, drops 'em & off he trots. After having to knock a few possum in the head with my shovel...I much prefer this method! Of course if he runs something up a tree the whole neighborhood hears about it.

Found Daisy standing on my back porch. All by herself. Boy was she yapping. Annie was still in the back part of the yard screaming & pacing. Not sure what Daisy thought she was doing....guess she flew over the fence. We had a quick chat and off to bed they went...

I need a coon hound...

You'd like this hound Ralphie. Nice guy. Easy going. Good in the house. Does his best work at night.
