A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

My long 8 days of work finally ended. Age must be catching me. Only put in 121 hours. less than than I usually do. My first day off had to have a struggle with my self just to get out of the recliner. But slept good last night finally. Other than light rain possible today. Supposed to be a beautiful day. So maybe I'll get some stuff finished up.

Did mess with my birds some though. Found where some of my ee chickens have been laying. So got some fresh chicken eggs for breakfast first of the year.
While working in my birds. My Tom's were gobbling and strutting. Kept hearing what sounded like a sick gobble. Watched them and everytime my toms sounded off one of my new hens would make a weak gobble like sound. Wasnt as deep as they boys but she was trying to keep up.

@memphis I wouldn't be to distraught over daisy and annie fighting. They are just trying to put on the I'm a bad girl image over just I'm a diva image. just in case that rebel loner tom happens by. Or the other option is corruption by the Guinea gang before they were apprehended.
I Bet you’re right the guineas got to them.

Found Annie. She was enjoying a dust bath. Boy her head is all swollen. Seems Daisy came out ok. Annie looks horrible. But I believe the fighting is over!!
Just read an article about a homer pigeon being auctioned for 1.4 million dollars. Belgium breeder, Chinese buyer. Apparently the homer pigeon thing is growing in popularity in China. The stakes for a winning pigeon can be over 100,000. And....this is NOT the first million dollar pigeon. I was stunned over the money these birds are bringing...and winning! How rich must you be to spend a million bucks on a pigeon?
