I sold a couple birds tonight.. of course one of the Toms had a huge scab on the side of his head.. which concerned the buyer...

I explained it was just spring snood pulling season,, I failed to mention snood pulling goes for 4 seasons..

Took the girls for a stroll tonight. Waited until the fighting was done. They behaved themselves. Ate a ton of stuff. Annie's swelling is down but she's all scabbed up. Daisy isn't too bad. My friends sweetgrass hatched. She wants me to come see them. I can't! I do not trust myself. Maybe in a few years as my girls age....but not now. Maybe a tom will cut down on their fighting? Hmmm....may be an excuse for a third bird!

You know you want another turkey! A Tom would make things more fun! Remember, they can be big sweethearts too!

Well, the wild girls were out this morning trying to talk my toms into joining them again. My boys were good, they stayed inside their fence.

I sold some turkeys to a guy I sold some to a year or so ago.

All his boys ran away from home... he had a flock of wild turkeys come into his yard.. they stayed for a couple weeks. Some Even went into his coop..

When they left the Toms went with them.


Wild women will ruin good boys!

I bet the refuge Nazis are not happy about this....

They get upset if our animals even step on “their” ( stolen from us) land.. but their animals can come on to our land...

Sorry about the minor rant... I always get a tad touchy about the land they stole that should still be mine....

I fully understand
ComEd stole land from my grandparents for high power lines and rt 80 stole land from my parents.. I would have almost 3x as much land except for imminent domain
