Good luck.. with the amount of heavy wet snow we had and the rate at which it is melting, you are in for a lot of water down there.Dont feel to bad about the girls not laying yet @memphis. Mine haven't laid an egg yet. But mine are slackers.
Catching a few sprinkles this morning. Dont need any rain. Put southern portions of county along river In a flood warning yesterday. Went to kc to work on a house and there was a lot of water in the bottoms. Some was flowing the wrong way in ditches along highway. Highway had water over it today. From what they showed on news of iowa and Nebraska not gonna be to good here looks like a lot of water to still come down.
So I've been moving things to higher ground getting ready to have my castle with an actual moat.
My birds are not allowed in the front yard either. I have extensive gardens up there. Now if I could just convince that wild turkey that keeps hanging around....Thunderstorms last night. Lots of thunder & lightning. Wasn't expecting it. So loud it even woke up the coonhound.
Feedman, heard there were tornadoes in Missouri last night. Hope your ok.
Caught my turkeys munching on my wild ginger ground cover yesterday. And my Japanese Painted fern is just coming up & found Daisy eating that. So the party is over. The girls are now regulated to the back part of the yard. Can't have them eating my gardens. Things are coming up and it's too tempting. They aren't happy. They pace the fence line & stand at the gate whining. They'll get over it.
