I need the bcm that lays that choklit one! One of mine lays one that dark but the other four... newp. Makes me sad. One lays one just a tinny bit darker than my buffs... that one really makes me mad. I paid enough for those hens and should be gettin dark dark eggs from them.

She only does it once or twice a week, the rest of the time they are a bit lighter. I luv those chocolate eggs.

I got FOUR turk eggs yesterday. . Paul is lovin the ladies layin again. They are his fav eggs cause of all the yolk.

I'm not getting many yet but did set 6 in incubator last night.

I have at least 2 girls laying right now, I'm just not sure who.
Sweet Pea has been broody the past couple weeks. She's about 4 years old now and this is her first time doing this. She's half wild so I'm surprised she waited this long. I have her 3 Olive egger cockerels this morning to raise. We'll see how she does.

Let's hope so. I'm still feeling crappy. My throat is the worst right now. Head is still stuffy off and on but the body aches have subsided thankfully. DD is getting it now too Hopefully, she'll get over it faster than I am.

Sorry you’ve got the ick, Aurora. We’ve had it for a month & a half & DH is still hacking a bit. Hopefully it’s mostly gone. The older you get, it seems, the longer recovery takes. Warmer weather would be helpful.
