A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

Dog needs to go. Obviously. And sorry about your mom....that's tough. What a day!
Molpet....sounds like the girls are keeping you busy scouting for eggs! LOL!
Aurora...in St. Louis my family owned nurseries. They were wholesale growers. My Grandpa always said not to plant bedding plants outside till May 1st. This snow event is taking place in the upper mid-west. I think it will miss you. But they are calling for a horrific amount of snow in some areas. Like 15 inches. That's crazy! It was 80 something here today, but going back to the 40's later this week. Crazy weather here too.

It was 72°F here today. They are calling for snow and low 30°s for tomorrow's and Thursday's highs. It is currently raining which will turn to snow as soon as the temperature gets low enough. Of course the indication is that Ralphie is trying to share again since the wind is coming from the east.

I left taps in the non-bloomed trees.. I hope to get another 100 gallons of sap.

It looks like the lowest that we're going to have is 48 next Monday but that could always change. I only planted a few flower bulbs. I think hyacinths and daffodils. I couldn't help myself when we stopped at the one store and they smelled so good. I want to add a couple bleeding hearts there too. Hopefully it doesn't get cold enough to kill anything off. Hope you all stay warm and that the majority of the snow misses everyone!

I have had crocus and daffodils covered with snow and end up just fine. I currently have crocus finishing up blooming and one single daffodil in bloom.

Had a clump of crocus and a bunch of snowdrops bloom, but the tulips and daffodils have yet to make much of a showing. Heck, no grape hyacinth yet, and there are several other known patches of crocus yet to flower. It's only been thawed a week maaaybe.
And a bit of snow tomorrow, but hopefully not too much. I don't want any more. It actually rained most of today and yesterday. But not heavy, just the easy, Misty, perhaps a half inch at the very most kind of rain we get on the prairie.
