A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

It froze even worse last night. The water sprinkler method has the tomato plants looking fine even though they were encased in ice this morning.

The potato plants look bad. The eggplants got touched pretty good and the Big Moose pumpkin plants got hit pretty hard.

This just isn't right for June 10th.
It froze pretty good here the last couple nights, too. I call boolsheet on that. I have no plants. (Besides the new trees.) Was gonna try, but you know what my weather was like.

Are you ready to join my

“assist warming group”??

We are having a nationwide tire burning event on the 4th of July.
You mean if it’s not too miserably cold, right? Hard to snuggle up close to that kind of fire... And I don’t even want to think about the marshmallows. :lau

Here’s my kindergarten tractor. I had to tarp the open ends the last two nights because of cold freezingness. “Mommy” loves the littles but can’t cover them all. At night they all snuggle into the nesting box together.

When I went down to feed the big birds tonight, I happened to notice that Goldie had an egg out from under her - and I said something like - you are messing up ole girl - better get that egg back. Then I realized it was a broken shell.

These are not good pics, but the best I could do on a lift, peek, and back away. Funny though, Goldie never made a sound nor any adverse action towards me. On the other hand, I did not touch anyone else either. :D

This all must have started sometime today.

To top it off, I had counted 11 eggs two days ago. Even with the broken eggs, my count is about 14. I think Brandie is trying to sneak a few new ones in. I don't believe those whiter looking ones were there to start with .

Opened the door to let the two mamas out with their poults. Oh no no no. Dramas in the high courts today yessiree. Lol. They want out bad but there can be no other anything within sight for this to happen evidentally. Those two took turns chasin anything and everything up the hill. One would guard while the other chased and tag you are it. Oh geez!
