A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

one of the recent storms just killed off both my Narragansett, and Golden Narragansett pouts... and managed to find new homes for 13 of my 19 roosters (5 of the 6 i have left are 2 months old, and the 6th one is their father)... but hopefully next week i will have a few poults (my incubator is averaging 42% - 46% humidity, and keeping the temp at 99.8 degrees), i am really hoping for poults, its hard to keep them alive when everything in my neighborhood wants to have them for dinner

as for my breeder turkeys, my Tom, and 2 hens are doing much better now since i put fresh hay in their coop, but the hens have stopped laying eggs for the summer, so the 13 eggs in the incubator are my last chance for babies from my flock, and my family is eagerly awaiting the day the poults I ordered from Porters arrive

R2elk, hazard a guess on this guy. I really like him and assume he is some kind of bronze.... but

Wow. He's got a ton of different feather patterns. How interesting!

I'm bragging....but my penciled poults is really getting pretty. I'll try to update pics tomorrow between hurricane deluges. The mottled is a few weeks behind with its juvie feathers so looks kind of scruffy right now!

Looking forward to the updated pics. Send just a bit of that rain up here?
