A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

Nap attack! I like that R2elk! I too started life as a night owl. It's so peaceful early. I rather like it. Plus I have my best energy load in the mornings.
I remember....a hundred years ago...getting off work on a Friday evening, loading dogs & driving 12 hours through the night to be at a stock trial in Weatherford TX by 7 the next morning. Solo, with NO CELL PHONE!! Now I panic if I'm 2 blocks from the house and don't have it!! Sure couldn't do that these days....much less with out a cell phone!
What's a cell phone? I have never had one of those things.

That's impressive! I can't (nor could I ever) drive much more than an hour or so without almost falling asleep. As I've gotten older, I've started having crazy anxiety when driving on unfamiliar roads or highways :/

Don't get one. I resisted for so long. Now I'm on it all the time. I hate it, but have become addicted.
I hate phones and much prefer email. With my poor hearing, even with auto correct or misspellings, I stand a much better chance figuring out what is being written than I do of understanding what someone is trying to say over a phone.

I have an irrational fear of talking on the phone. Most of time I can't understand people. It's not a hearing issue, I have perfect hearing but sounds get jumbled and I can't understand. It's the same when I'm to people face to face but at least I have a chance to read lips and get better context clues. If someone calls and it's not someone that I know, I won't answer. When I place ads for poults and chicks, I put very specifically, text or email only. I will not answer calls. I use the bad signal my area as the excuse lol

I took a bunch of pictures today of the flock but I'll upload them tomorrow maybe. My computer will take too long to do it tonight. But, I will upload the sewing stuff that I promised a while ago...

different stitch patterns. Some rows, I did multiple stitch types in. I though red would stand out good on the denim. It was ok but maybe white would've been better.

The saddle stockpile, replenished. There's still a few there that need finished but I'm getting there :)

Then with my scraps from the saddles, I've been throwing together random quilt squares :)

Wow you are a wonder! I love to quilt..... the standing joke at my house is in my spare time.... example in my spare time I will sew, or catch up on my organization... my hubby thinks it's great. He is always pulling my leg about it when I bring up a project I want to work on.
I will get some of it done just this eve i managed to weed half a row in the garden... ok so the other 9 1/2 still need attention but still it was something.

Alicia....sometimes it's the small victories (weeding half a row) that mean the most!

Aurora that machine is impressive! I like the red on blue. White could work, but also try a dark color like navy or black. Love the 9 patch quilt blocks! Great use for scraps! I'm a huge quilt fan! Really like that idea!

Well...my cell phones are my life lines! I have two. One is a work phone, one is a personal phone. I get emails on them, text on them, Google stuff on them, etc. Love the GPS feature when I'm traveling. I can even review construction documents on them. Taking a picture & forwarding it on to someone from a job site is priceless! I could go on....
