A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

My Pencilled just has to be a girl! Merely based upon the fact that she's too pretty to be a boy!! Has such a sweet face. How's that for figuring out sex at an early age? LOL! I can see R2elk rolling his eyes!
Nope, I have had poults that were thought to be hens right from the start just because they looked more feminine than the others. They always have turned out to be hens for me.

One of the youngest poults does not do a horizontal tail fan.

Just dropped kids off for VBS and drive to the store. It decided to start down pouring just as I parked. Thanks for sharing the rain guys :rant Thankfully, I'm in no hurry. I'm just going to sit here until it at least slows down before I go in to restock my tea lol.
One of the goofy penciled turkeys was just laying in the mud, in the rain earlier. I have no idea what that don't was thinking. I wasn't going out to ask either! I'm wondering if it was the same one that always stands by the fence instead of going in the coop every time it rains

Is that possible?

I think he is a gorgeous guy, said in a non-gay way...

I suppose a couple years of them breeding however they want it could happen because of the Royal Palms..

If he is I am ecstatic. I always wanted one of them..

Now if an accidental sweetgrass would just appear.
This year yielded sweet grass for me! If you want to come get some next year, perhaps I'll hatch a big batch, or I could test out my egg mailing skills. I live next to the same interstate you do, lol.

It’s a one way way interstate so it’s a lot shorter trip for you than me.

Here's some of the sweet grass, and ones that are like a sweet grass but.. lighter? These have red bronze over Royal palm

I took a bunch of pictures today of the flock but I'll upload them tomorrow maybe. My computer will take too long to do it tonight. But, I will upload the sewing stuff that I promised a while ago...

different stitch patterns. Some rows, I did multiple stitch types in. I though red would stand out good on the denim. It was ok but maybe white would've been better.

The saddle stockpile, replenished. There's still a few there that need finished but I'm getting there :)

Then with my scraps from the saddles, I've been throwing together random quilt squares :)

So pretty! I love all the colors. I really like the red on blue. They’re more or less the same value (lightness/darkness) but the color difference provides a bit more contrast than blue on blue (which would also be attractive I think). Low-key and subtle if you like that, which I do. White or a higher value color would definitely pop more—also lovely—just different.

Why is it when women start talking about colors, I get glassy eyed and momentarily pass out until the conversation is over?
