A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

Took advantage of our "cold" front & cleaned the turkeys pen. Gave them a freshly laundered towel! Which I'm sure they will appreciate. Surprising few poops on the towel! They have managed to keep it pretty clean!
I have "MY TOWELS", Dog Towels, and now turkey towels!

Apparently I didn't fluff her towel correctly!

They say tomorrow is supposed to be better here - weather-wise. Right now, temps ranging from 99 to over 102. I hope so - have lost 3 - 3-month-old poults. Running a mister, sprinkler, the big shop fan, wading pools and a ton of water containers that I have been changing every couple of hours. Chickens seem to be faring much better.

Then, my dog decided to eat her flea collar, so I was able to spend the night in the animal emergency. - smdh

On a good note - (but with me in full paranoia mode) at least 3 midget white eggs have pipped. I am literally sitting on my hands and staying out of that room. They started sometime after midnight, I first saw them at 6:30am this morning - and it's day 26 in the incubator.

Aurora...they are growing up! Wish I could get a shot of them cuddling in the towel...but they hop up everytime I get close. It's pretty cute.

Flashpoint....hope the midgets hatch ok!! Sorry about your loss. Heat kills. Sounds like your doing all you can to keep them cool.

What does a vet do when a dog eats a flea collar? I've never had that happen!
