I think there may be thirteen... I said ten, but they kept begging to come home with me and I lost count... There is a slate and a mottled black. The rest are all Sweetgrass.

Thirteen Sweetgrass plus two Tri-Color Mottleds = 15 total.

Good thing someone was keeping track! I can’t count them very easily now and I forgot to when I was taking them out of the carrier. They’re all running around like little crazy poults now, everytime I try to count.

15!! Wow! Good for you! That will be a gorgeous flock. I'd be in the same position....I'd keep stashing as many as someone would hand me! I can't be trusted around poults. It's those sweet faces!!

Speaking of sweet faces.... I think Daisy is trying to talk the poults into walking around to the front yard with us. They are a bit unsure. She'll try, but then just shrugs & follows me. It's her social hour. And the grazing is good.
