What a great time of year to have poults hanging out in the house. Is there just the three or do you have more to come?

There's still two eggs in the bator from this batch. 1 is pipped, the other isn't so we'll see what happens. I have another batch due in a couple weeks and a pile of eggs sitting on top the incubator, waiting to go in. I don't want to set them until I know what the future holds.

The coonhound just killed another squirrel. This time the turkeys found it. All kinds of weird turkey noises ensued!! Pretty funny!

Which turkey should stay and which one should become Thanksgiving dinner? There are only 2 turkeys in the running. The 2 year old turkey ( with the beard got his picture loaded in twice). The other turkey ( last picture, no beard) is a year old.
I have 1 hen, a royal palm, so I don't need 2 Toms.

Baby 4 is out! The little guy got stuck in the Shell and needed help. My humidity was a bit low.

Baby 5 is definitely alive in the Shell. I think I remember setting an egg a day later than the rest so it'll probably hatch tomorrow

No lapper training yet but they do come running for my hands when I reach in They're not really eating yet but they have been randomly pecking

Oh wow! Bug eyed babies! Just what I needed! What color will they be? Will you brood them in the house....due to the cold weather? I think I'd be temped.....since there is just a few!!

My sister found 10 3 month old midget whites in Florida - I thought - well, maybe 2 since they WON'T have winter feathers. She thinks I should take all 10. I told her she was plumb crazy!

Which turkey should stay and which one should become Thanksgiving dinner?

If big size difference, how big a bird you want for meal. Is the older a proven breeder? Which treats the hen well? Is either aggressive toward people? Just a few questions to ask yourself to help decide.
