A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

Hello all haven’t posted turkey things in a while I’ve been concerned with my geese and duck problems. Belle and Wilson are doing great. I don’t think belle likes Wilson that much but be tries his best I’ve been picking them up a lot they don’t like the pick up part but they seem to like the sit on the lap part especially Belle. She also stopped jumping out of the run. I guess she just had to rebel a little. She really likes following around our new rescue goose Bruce so maybe she’s too busy to jump out now lol. She also loves to sit on her door.

Love the lapper pictures!! Nothing better than a hen hug!

Forgot to remind y'all that Westminster Dog Show started tonight. Hounds were the first group. I thought Shaw & R2elk would enjoy the coonhounds. Herding is later tonight. None of my Aussie friends went. I had no entries. Judging wasn't good for most of us...
Nice looking whippet won the hound
I had a whippet I showed as a kid..then they were looking for larger than standard. Mine was standard size and never made enough pts for champion

I always have too many toms. I have 3 now and I believe 10 hens. My fertility is awful right now and i know it's because those boys won't let each other mate the girls. I'm going to have to get creative. Thankfully, breeding injuries don't happen here anymore with every girl in a saddle lol

The difference in the mountains is really incredible! We're right near the ridge top on our "mountain" in PA and I always thought we had great views and nice elevation. Then we went to Oregon for my brother's wedding a few years ago.... just driving from Portland to Bend and being able to see the mountains for hours before even getting close was incredible but then, the wedding was on top of Mt Bachelor....WOW. Riding the ski lift up that was definitely incredible and the view, to die for!
If you ever decide to go to Yellowstone park, go via the Beartooth Highway. You won't regret it, I promise.
Just make sure if you do go, it's in summer. The highway doesn't open until late may due to snowpack but it's clear by June, usually.
