A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

My guess is Calico but it is just a guess.
R2elk, guesses are fine. lol. I thought it could be either and I am NOT an expert by any stretch. Nor does my son understand the importance of "good pics". I am sure this was a snap pic on the fly as he was there on another mission. I don't even know if I will get him, but the owner is moving and can't take her critters with her. Thanks :D

Hey Flash! Sorry about your ferret. It sounds like you gave it a good home. Didn't realize you had such bad weather too. Sounds scary. Those midgets are so darn cute!!
Hi Memphis! I've had (I think) 22 ferrets over the past 20 years. I love them but their lifespan is so short especially if they have other serious underlying issues. I swore up and down when my last of the "originals" died, I wasn't going to have any more. However, the SAME sister who insisted I needed more birds - also said I just couldn't live without having ferrets. So I ended up with 8 more. Even so, this will indeed be the last of them. Getting too old for heartbreaks. :old

The weather yesterday and today (with a bit of rain) has been so much nicer than the week before. I can live with this!

I have been telling people that most of the turkeys are "attack turkeys" - even the UPS guy now looks around before getting out of his truck. lol One day when I know I have a package arriving, I will put the two Midget White toms in the front yard. I can't put Tommie or Iron out like that because they Would gang up on a stranger. I have seen them do that here already. It IS funny though.

I was at the dentist yesterday and the higentist (sp?) Who's known me since I was little got to asking about all my birds. She mentioned it to the dentist and she was just amazed that turkeys are affectionate and like to be held. We ended up on the subject of tutus and she just thought that was tree most hilarious thing ever lol. It was a fun appointment :)

People are amazed when I tell them what good pets they can be. That, or, they think I'm just nuts....

Both are real possibilities. :lau

As I cut back on birds, the thought occurs to me that I should keep a couple hens as pets.

By moving the Toms to freezer camp I would end all chances of my incubating eggs in a weak moment.

The WW wants to take a more drastic and extreme measure and get rid of all my incubators.

Umm I would rather get rid of the spouse :wee
But this is one of the reasons I never got one of those
