The count is now up to 23 Sweetgrass poults. Apparently the Blue Slate hen did not get bred since there have not been any Tri-Color Mottleds hatch.

I am still around, just not talking much. work has been busy, chicks and grow outs have kept me hopping. kids are somewhat helpful. good to see other folks are hatching turkeys and continuing on. I did manage to hatch 3 more turkeys this past week.... one black and 2 slates. I think I will get to keep the lightest slate but have a gal waiting on 4 poults so i plan to sell her the 2 from last week and 2 of these... maybe its for the best that I only get to keep a few?? otherwise I will be overrun with turkeys!

Alicia...that's exactly why I can't breed...I'd keep more than I should. If I was at R2elk's I'd be sitting right in the middle of those babies hugging on them!!

Was telling my sister what the girls have been up too. She keeps asking what is wrong with me. Says it's not normal to keep turkeys as pets. LOL! Little does she know!!
