Everytime I turn on the TV, there's Dr. Fauci. They are going to wear out that old man.

One of my neighbors asked if turkeys can get the virus. I had Daisy out for a graze. She heard him. And she's been bugging me ever since. Sounds like all of our regulars here have avoided it so far. Worry about Aurora & Holm....dealing with the public. No word on when we are lifting shut downs here. Although they are rolling out plans. I don't get why the tattoo parlors will be opening. And there are tons of folks making more staying home vs working.
No reason for tattoo opening. But I wouldn't be going anyway :lau

I would never go to one either.

But..

All government authority comes from the people through the Constitution, where in the Constitution does the government get the right to limit people’s movement and open or close private business?

My suspicions were confirmed this morning when I found a hidden nest with 7 turkey eggs in it.

There are 4 new Sweetgrass poults crawling around and sliming the other eggs in the incubator this morning. Guess I better get busy and finish setting up the brooder.
Those unauthorized incubators.
I probably should set up the brooder too. I have some first time broodies and never know how they will do.

DZ eggs I gave to a local bycer have hatched. She got all 12 to hatch. :ya

According to the constitution, they can't.
But history has shown in 1918-19 it cut down on deaths. https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/po...918-flu-under-control-then-it-lifted-n1191141

Everything, after the word “but” is immaterial.

so for my own “but”. The flu hospitalized 950,000 + in 2018 and killed 80,000.. 10,000 under age 64. All this happened in two months.

Our leaders must act within the confines of the Constitution. It is each persons personal responsibility to decide what they want to do to avoid disease.

The tragic thing about the 1918 flu is that so many servicemen died....after surviving the war. I have an odd interest in the aviators of WW1. Flying was brutal.
As do I.
If the planes with their primitive equipment didn’t kill them the enemy did. But they could fly!

Since the leaders appoint the judges, good luck trying to fight it. Obama Care was illegal too but the judges upheld it.
