A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

lost a hen yesterday who had gone out into the summer pasture to nest. I did not find her nest before the skunk did. I discovered her upper third ( and, unusually, the skunk did not eat her head!) and a few yards a way her decimated nest ( only a week from hatching)
I went on another skunk killing rampage and caught me another this morning, the fattest little male skunk, soooooo fat I've never seen such a chub! Dead now. Dealt with a skunk den again. They are super pests this year, sheesh!
I am down to 9 turkey hens now :(
