A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

Something ate my ceramic goose eggs :( along with 3 or 4 turkey eggs. I suspect coyotes, due to presence of droppings nearby. Will a coyote be able to pass ceramic eggs through its gut? The eggs were not cheap and I would like to have them back.
I usually find them intact heading towards the creek.

I got some sidewalk chalk eggs around Easter. They have moved and chewed them up. Once they get wet the hens don't like them 😔

Check out this cool poult! I'm guessing semi penciled something.

The toms this year are really into parenting. View attachment 4155071

I love this! My Romeo always loved poults whether they were just babies recently hatched or older ones just joining the flock, he always made it his mission to make sure they stayed warm, got where they needed to go and were protected. He was even more than happy to let them lay on his back. We haven't added any new poults in a few years but I know he'd be just as caring towards them.

Is it possible for a single turkey hen to lay these three eggs? I found them in the same nest on three consecutive days. I can't figure out if multiple hens are using that nest, the eggs look so different.
