Moon cooed to her now sleeping chicks, they lay beside her, their little heads resting on each other. The last egg still hadn't pipped and time was dragging on, she was getting worried now. It was the egg that had been shaken and the thought of it made her burst into tears. She dried her face with her wing and decided to wait rather then worry. Two chicks is a good hatch, two healthy chicks....

Owlmint pecked outside of where Moonstar was and came in. He smiled when he saw the 2 chicks, and put a wing feather over the "dud" -so-far one.
