He wasn't aware that anyone was following him, but just in case, shoved the rock back into place behind him to seal him in. He traveled further, the torches leading the way. He made it to a fork in the road that went in three directions. It was an organized system; the path on the left shone the least brightly, the one in the center shone the most, and the one on the right shone slightly brighter than the path on the left. He chose the middle of the fork, and there was a seemingly endless tunnel. He wondered if he should turn back, it was getting late and his mother was probably worried sick, which she was; but he was determined to investigate this.
