She flared her wings and turned sharply, coming in from the other side. She rammed her beak into his side, breaking several ribs

He lifted his neck so his spurs got tangled in the cobwebs, he jerked his head back, ripping the cobwebs off his neck. While he was trying to get the cobwebs off his feet he attacked again. Twisting his wing back the wrong way

The bird brought her into a hole.

All three roosters retreated, their job finished.

I know. I said wounds, as in the other damage on her body. She already has her stub things fixed up.
