A rooster of golden, his long tail softly skipping along the ground behind him, proudly yet modestly strutted through the forest. He came too close to WingClan's border, and Jade became suspicious. Jade flew to the ground and exclaimed, "Trespasser!" Then attempted his trick of disappearing when the bird tried to find him, but it didn't work and he was seized by the wing before he had the chance to say anything more. He let go, "Jade," he said calmly, "It is me." Jade looked at him like he was insane, "Who?" The golden bird just smiled. Jade felt an odd calmness and peace overcome him, and he couldn't figure out where he'd seen that smile before. "It has been too long." The cock said as he examined Jade. Jade's head was still cocked, and he said nothing. "How have you been caring for the forest in my absence?" He then asked, that gave it away. Jade bowed low to the ground, "GoldStar, my Lord, forgive me for having not recognized you! It has indeed been far too long!" GoldStar kept smiling, "Your apology is not necessary. We have other matters to discuss."
