I think we are all either winners or losers! My EE still hasn't laid an egg, she's almost 8 months old

Just had one of my 4 duds squat for me today... added 2 extra nest boxes in a different area of the coop...seeing if that might entice a couple of them to lay!

Yes! Good sign. One of my duds started squatting this week too. Hopefully in another week we'll both have eggs from them!

My Sussex Gemima was hatched on 27th March and has never laid an egg. She is a happy healthy girl With her bright red comb and wattles and looks like she should be laying but so far zilch. Think my other girls know she is a free loader cos although they are not aggressive when it comes to feeding and treat time she always gets pushed out of way and sometimes find her wandering around coop on her own

Still nothing on the faverolles front,did see Lulu get some roo love. Does it mean anything? I'm thinking the roo had a case of mistaken identity and thought he hopped on a non dud.

Hopefully the roo knows she is reaching her prime and can sense that she is gonna lay!
