Sammy is purebred Sumatra. As is the black hen next to him. The little guy in the tree I believe is a Sumatra/ Bantam mix. The little guy playing weathervane is a breed of bantam that I am at the moment blanking on. I can't be sure on the mixes as I rescued these guys and girls.
They are great chickens. Mild mannered, wild instincts left in them. In the summer, they require little feed. They scavenge food on their own all day long. They do run up to me and beg a few times a day however...........
