I looked and looked for answers to these questions but couldn't find any.

Q1: Is 1/2" hardwire cloth good enough to keep them out? Or does it take 1/4"?

Q2: Not realated to chickens, but do weasels attack and eat rabbits?

Thanks to everyone who answers!

I/2 inch should keep them out.

Weasels will attack most anything.

There are many species of "weasels" from tiny ones like the "Least Weasel" up to the largest member of the "family", the Wolverine

Most of them are ferocious killers that will attack creatures larger than themselves

Thank you very much! Very useful

Very well stated Bear Foot farm! I grew up with ferrets (they are part of the weasel family) and I love them very much, but even the domesticated ones can be vicious. I had one that would go after the cats; We were always prying her off a cat that she had attacked (she had them in a death grip on the neck).

Yeah I figured they would go after rabbits, but I had to ask anyway.

woodmort I checked out the thread and all it says is the stuff I know already, thanks for the suggestion anyway

.

I don't need to trap any, I just want to know this stuff for future reference.
