First of all, is it common to crossbreed a Silkie and Polish?I don't think so.
So, I have the chick that I’m hopping to get soon.
The fact that it is silky makes it difficult to determine its gender. Those of you with experience, what do you think?

Is that the only picture? I'd lean pullet but the comb is a little suspicious
Thank you for your reply!
I have already requested a photo from the breeder.
So...it's dark skinned, I have no idea pullet or roo.

I'm thinking pullet too. Typically, I'd expect a rooster to have a wider and more developed comb at this age.
Thank you for your reply!
More pictures have arrived. I am already obsessed with her but I'm feeling a little anxiety.

The one picture of it standing up tall in the cage makes me think boy, but the comb is pretty small for this age. Could be a late developer, or hopefully it is a pullet! I agree, so interesting that it is in a pet store setting?? 😅

I would day pullet. It's really novel for me to see chickens in what looks like a pet store.😅

I hope it's a pullet. If the breeder confirms that it's a pullet, it will be sold out, so there is still a chance to buy it to me.
It's rare to see chickens in a pet shop, But it's a pretty sad they're in cages..
