A cross between a Silky and a Polish. No gender differences

First of all, is it common to crossbreed a Silkie and Polish?I don't think so.
So, I have the chick that I’m hopping to get soon.
The fact that it is silky makes it difficult to determine its gender.Those of you with experience, what do you think?

I have already requested a photo from the breeder.
So...it's dark skinned, I have no idea pullet or roo.

I'm thinking pullet too. Typically, I'd expect a rooster to have a wider and more developed comb at this age.

I would day pullet. It's really novel for me to see chickens in what looks like a pet store.

The one picture of it standing up tall in the cage makes me think boy, but the comb is pretty small for this age. Could be a late developer, or hopefully it is a pullet! I agree, so interesting that it is in a pet store setting??

I hope it's a pullet. If the breeder confirms that it's a pullet, it will be sold out, so there is still a chance to buy it to me.
It's rare to see chickens in a pet shop, But it's a pretty sad they're in cages..
