one day our chicks where in a pen with one of our grown hens and she is acting as a momma, so they went in to a big shade thing I built for them (Don't worry its safe
) and she sat down and started to rest soon the chicks came and litterly made a circle around her and slept with her and snuggled with her.
The hens name is Nutmeg she's a Buff Orpington and the chicks are a #3
2 are buff cochins and 1 is a blue cochin.
