Hey everyone, my fiance and i just bought 4 bright eyed and bushy tailed Rouen ducklings yesterday.

They are alert, eating well, and love bath time.

I love rouens! I don't own any, but I do own grey and snowy mallards.

surprisingly they did, our barred rock chicks where being shadowed by the ducklings, and the banties were trying to play.

And is there a way I can get these little trouble makers to stop playing in the watering dish

I have it on a container lid and its one of the gravity feeding waterers and they pull all the water out and make their shavings soaking wet. Leading to momma cleaning it daily. Even with marbles in the waterer they are playing in it.

Cute! As for them constantly playing in the water, I am pretty much clueless. Maybe get a different waterer, like a bowl, and put the bowl in a dish or a bigger container lid?
