Okay first we have a 4 week old chick who has VERY smelly poop that keeps sticking on her butt. We keep washing it off, but it's not getting better after a few days. Some blood from vent while washing. The smell is horrible. We're not sure what to do.
Second we have a 2 week old chick who has a swollen pad on the bottom of a foot. She won't put any weight on it at all, and it's been like that for about a week.
Third, we have some 8 week old meat birds who just have poo all over their bottoms. Not all of them, but a few. Is this normal? I know they're just pooping and probably sitting down right in it and then it's on them and attracts the attention of the other birds. I am open to any suggestions, we have had chicks a few times before (not this many) and never had problems. Tryed calling around to vets, but no one answers questions about chickens. Thanks in advance!

I'm not sure. The one with smelly poo almost sounds like cocci, and the bad foot was probably some kind of injury at that age--I've never heard of bumble foot in a chick that young. Could you post some pictures and give somemore information about what they are eating and housed in? There is a sticky at the top of the emergencies section that has a bunch of questions on it. It would be really helpfull if you would copy/paste that onto your post and answer as many of the questions as you can. The more info. you give us the better we will be able to help you.
