A Frame Pallet Wood Project

Hubby took the outside pic of the back of the coop. We will need to frame in the hardware cloth at the top vent and nail in some skinny boards to close the gaps.

The roof I actually forgot to post. I didn't get pictures of it because it was dark last night by the time we were done.

We used an upside down pallet so the boards look nice on the inside. We used L brackets to secure it to the frame on the open sides we added 2x4s to close the gap and once everything is painted we will add white corrugated plastic roof sheets.

I will get some pictures of it tomorrow before we paint if my husband doesn't have some.

Thank you! I feel like it took forever but that's because of all the hours of YouTube videos we spent watching and critiquing methods. A dash of trial and error and at least a week of rain.

One of the reasons Neuchickenstein took 6 months instead of 6 weeks was that it rained on DH's day off 3 weeks out of 4 for several months.

Had I built mine in a workshop & hauled it with a tractor (like the "pros" ) I wouldn't have had to wait weeks on end for the rain to stop last year .It added a month to mine!
