A fun thought experiment: Create your ultimate "weird flock!"

I also love the dalmation with a mohawk look of Appenzellers!
I definitely want a rumpless Araucana
And a black Ayam Cemani or Svarthona

I also want some true Dinosaurs:
Liege Fighters
& Shamo
I love their fierce look & upright stance

My "weird flock" would probably go something like this:

1-2 frizzled naked neck roosters

3-5 silkie mix roosters

2-3 easter egger roosters

1 white laced red cornish rooster

2 d'uccle roosters

1 candy corn polish rooster

I've never heard of a candy corn polish...do you have a picture of one?

Yeah, I thought about that guy too! I've seen him before and he's really weird. The breed is called La Fleche! The more I think of it, the more I'm leaning towards having that for my rooster.

I am a weird one---I find beauty in uniformity rather than diversity.
Not weird at all, I can see the appeal. It's practical too, in many ways - probably reduces bullying, it makes it easy to sell eggs for hatching (no need to put certain chickens away for mating), etc.

Sultans are neat. I considered breeding them for a while but they have the brains of a stapler and the genetic diversity of one too.

Genetic diversity will be the least of your problems once the Sultans are a part of the Ultimate Weird Flock! :D

Add some Appenzeller Spitzhaubens! I'm getting some next month...
YES! They definitely fit. Unique headgear, unique color pattern... Plus, I've heard their nice. Active and curious.

All roosters? Yes... That is weird!

I just thought of something... I definitely want a zebra striped hen. Perhaps a Barred Rock. Or someone with crele coloring.

Hmm... La Flèche, I will look that up!

For my real life flock though, I really want the largest gentlest brahma rooster I can find. I like to think he would be good with everyone. They aren't the flashiest like some of the other roosters people have suggested in this thread, but they do have a way of making people take a second look!

Oh, and another option... There is a Swedish landrace called Hedemora. Most of them look "ordinary"... But some of them are positively stunning, with dark skin and light feathers, sometimes with beautiful patterns. Check out these attractive (and unusual and therefore weird!) specimens:

Furthermore, they are sometimes what is referred to as "wooly", meaning they sort of have "semi-silky" feathering (the rooster on the left):

Oh, they are definitely weird enough to fit here! Apart from being the size of freakin' battleships, with the ubiquitous deep crow to match, they have weirdly long and profusely feathered legs, the typical Brahma eagle-eyes, and rose comb! And occasionally pretty unusual color patterns (google "BOS Brahma rooster)! My weirdometer goes through the roof!

And (apparantly) possibly the most personable of chickens. They're supposed to be extremely tame.
I wanted some, but I own a dual purpose farm of birds that are friendly and easy to breed and show. Like d'Anvers, my favorite breed, and Buckeyes my second favorite. We also have Ameraucanas, bantam Dominiques, and Ameraucanas. We also have others that I badly want to get rid of, like our Silkies. I wouldn't mind eating a black chicken leg, though.
