A hen that crows - need advice

How old is this bird?
Any chance for video?

Had a 2-3yo hen crow for a few months over winter break.
Duets with cockbird every morning then she stopped when she came back in to lay.

My Lilly does it on rare occasions. So it is hard to catch video but you can hear her in this video. She is alpha hen is over 6 years old and lays 1 egg a month which she did yesterday.

Here is Lilly.

If it becomes a problem with your neighbors invest in a rooster crow collar. We had a 'surprise' rooster, discovered the crow collar by accident, and it worked well. He didn't seem to mind it, and his crow came out much softer and quieter.

Results on the crow collar can be mixed. It did not work for us.

So this morning one of my hens, Blamo, crowed! It was not a very smooth crow....but still, I would have thought it was a rooster!
In my area I'm not aloud to keep roosters.....but she ISN'T a rooster! So I can keep her, right? (I don't think I'll get reported though, I have nice neighbors.)
I could just show the people she lays eggs! :p Well, I can't get rid of her.

Good I have advice?
Enjoy the crows! You have a rare bird. One my hens has spurs, so go figure.

I also believe it is a hormone issue. My wife had a pet hen that laid eggs and crowed; for a time. The crowing eventually stopped and the hen lived over ten years-never to crow again.

Don’t worry about. It should be fine! My hen ‘rides’ other hens like a rooster does. So not sure how hens know to do things like roosters...
