~Hazelpaw's head shot off of her paws as bickering filtered from the nursery and trickled to her ears. Curious, she soundlessly padded up to the nursery and slipped down into the queens' and kits' living area. Her eyebrows shot up in disbelief as she saw the kits quarreling. "Kits!" she chastised, her ears flicking back in astonishment. "And you, Ravenkit-" her gaze fell on the quiet she-kit sitting in a corner "- I'm disappointed in you and Graykit and Applekit for not discouraging this kind of behavior!"~

~ Rainstar grinned with content as she sauntered by the elders' den and caught a few words of yet another captivating re-telling of some epic battle or another. The sun shown down on SplashClan's camp, illuminating it with an attractive amber glow.~

~Rainstar shook the leftover drowsiness free from her pelt from her afternoon nap like glimmering droplets of rain. Her magnificient silver eyes zeroed in on her deputy, Willowfrost, plodding into camp. Rainstar's jaws gaped wide in a reluctant yawn and she padded over to meet her.~

Mortification fogged up her eyes and the ginger apprentice backed up into a wall, then fled up the tunnel. Oh, I hope no cat- especially not any queen, heard that!!

I-I thought the kits were fighting and when I said so, Ravenkit became angry- v-very angry," she mewled, staring down at her paws in guilt. "I'm s-so very sorry if I disturbed you." Her ears unwillingly laid back, betraying her fear at being chastised by her leader.~

~Hazelpaw bravely met Foxstar's hardened gaze. "I-I mistakenly suggested that she and the older kits shouldn't encourage the brand-new kits' fighting with themselves and the almost-apprentices." She spoke quitely, hoping that her earnest answer would appease Foxstar. "I understand that it was rash of me to interfere and I should be gentler on Ravenkit especially. I just want all of the kits to be content and peaceful," the ginger apprentice added shyly.~
