Yeah, just wait till you fence that baby in and let the cows loose. What a cool tree area you will have! They will clear those trees from the ground up and it will be an amazing canopy left! We have 100 acres and we did that with our cows. DH did not figure it would ever get cleaned and I told him to turn some hungry cows in there and it will be spotless. It was!!!!

You're absolutely right - they will definitely help clear out the area and make less work for us.

We're still waiting to hear what the place appraised for and hoping to have a closing date soon! We took down a load of firewood last night just so we have some until we can get out and cut some off the property.

I am so tempted to go build a fire in the woodburner on New Year's Eve so that the garage will be warm and we can bring in the new house on our new property!! But since we haven't closed yet and the seller is still paying the electric bill, I'd feel guilty about that.
