>~* A Howl At Midnight>~* A FORGOTTEN DOGS ROLEPLAY!

Littlepup leaned in to peer between the legs of her father at the beta, thoroughly confused. What does she mean? She's not stable? Attack her? What... Why would he attack her? She wondered, taking note of Stream's oily tears gathering in her eyes.
Yes, Alpha was dead, but that meant Beta was alpha now. No one questioned it, everyone that Littlepup knew was loyal to her. Why would she not want to be alpha? Was she just afraid?
She tipped her head down, scratching her tiny paw in the dirt, before raising her head again to watch the beta. Maybe it was best if someone else was alpha. If Stream questioned herself, she was probably right.

Excuse me what

(watch Bear not even be my charrie cuz I only remeber the reed/shadow fam and Coal and Raksha)

Bear stared (hey that rhymes) in numb shock up at Stream. He was too tired to chastise himself for the lack of horror he felt at such a request, too bloody to even begin to try and follow it through.
"I don't deserve to be this tired, I didn't lose anyone," he thought.
Because you didn't have anyone to lose, whispered his conscience.

He growled at that thought, louder than he meant to. It awoke the fighter within him without him meaning to do so.

"Stream... I..." Suddenly he was tired again. He swallowed nervously, bracing himself for what he knew he had to say. "I've killed enough today, and there's no way in the stars that the last dog's blood that's going to rot in my mouth will be one from my own pack. And much less our next leader, at that." He watched her carefully through hooded eyes, and swallowed again.

Oh, he was so tired of blood.
(oh yes he's yours)

Something unexpectedly savage erupted from Stream's throat; an emittance that normally would've flooded her mind with remorse. "Oh, so your undying loyalty extends this far, does it?"
Suddenly she pitched herself forward and her limbs tensed as if she was going to perform a precision dismount into the crowd.

But she was falling, falling, falling, falling...

Stream headfirst landed in the sand, tawny grains spewing away from every angle of her battered body. For an indefinite stretch of time, she lay there motionless. The silence she again governed was everywhere- a force of domination itself.
She heaved herself upright and majestically keened a silent wail to the skies through a shut muzzle.

And so I fall alone so they won't have to.

Then her hindquarters seemed to simply give out beneath her and she was left pathetically propped on trembling forelegs.
She ran narrowed eyes from dog to dog, daring them to voice an invalid counterclaim against her inability to lead and voluntarily blind them all any longer.
"Do you see? Can any of you see? I can't do this!"

"Um, yes. But I'm Ash and Birch's half sister."Flame replied quietly.
Greypup looked back at her, confusion on his face. Ash and Birch have a half sister? And one who lives in Rip Pack? "Huh, I'm uh... Ash's packtored pup." He shifted his stance awkwardly. "Do you have any wounds? I'm sure Breeze or Frost could check you out..." He said quietly, trying to not talk loud and annoy Birch or Ash.

"I'm as confused as you kid. My dead father told me. I had no clue till last night."Flame muttered."And uh. I'm fine, thank you." I am very socially awkward....kill me now.

"Yeeeaahh....I don't know exactly how it works? It's sorta defying logic, but whatever. It was sort of freaky actually."Flame replied matter-of-factly.
"Huh, if one of my parents floated down I think I'd just freak out so much I'd join them in the stars." Greypup muttered, then grew hot under his fur. "Sorry, I'm rambling. I haven't really talked to anyone in a couple days. Um..." He trailed off. "Are you sure I can't get you something?"

"Don't worry I do that same thing to."Flame replied, shrugging."I'm sure, thanks though, Greypup."
